About Guided by AM:
Alison Midollo is a certified yoga teacher, holistic health coach and reiki healer who guides her students and clients to restore the mind + body back to peace so that they can transform physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health. Her philosophy is rooted in slowing down and self-care. Alison has quickly grown to be recognized as a self-care + wellness expert who truly lives by the simple self-care and stress relief practices she shares. She is a guiding light to her community as she inspires all to master their own unique energy, create a restful lifestyle, and align their own self-care with intention and ease.
Alison believes there is always time, space and energy to honor a deep commitment of care with yourself. When it begins with nourishing and honoring self, Alison stands firm in holding the vision that self-care creates a ripple effect powerful enough to impact the healing of the collective.
Lisa Schlosberg, LMSW, HHC, CPT, RYT is a trauma informed online coach for people struggling with weight loss and overall health. Her first hand experience with the struggles of weight and health, from childhood obesity to extreme under-eating later in life, showed her how badly the diet and weight loss industry needed to be re-examined. After trying every diet and weight loss program in existence, Lisa realized that the fundamental lack in every single one of these programs was a profound ignorance to how emotional needs manifest physically in cravings and addictions. If the biggest problem you have with food is that you’re an emotional eater, it’s not a problem you have with food; it’s a question about how you’re coping – or not – with your emotions. That realization led Lisa to found Out of the Cave and help everyone find true health.
